IProMonitor - Client / Server Project Management Software

Implementation

Within the system all users are classified according to their role, and they can see and modify only the data they are authorized to within their respective role.

The function of the Administrator is to keep the system up to date technically.

The Controller has the main expertise. He initiates new projects, performs the staffing, and assigns a project to a project manager.

The Project Manager executes all planning during the life cycle of a project, and

the Project Member books the hours he has spent while working on a project.

IProMonitor User Interface

The projects to be maintained are displayed on the left side of the user interface; the structure elements themselves:

  • Project
  • Project Member
  • Project Phase
  • Work Package
  • Purchase Plan
  • Resource Plan
  • Change Request

can be selected by double-clicking to be opened and shown in the edit area on the upper right. To get help (displayed on the lower right) on the currently active dialog, press the F1 button.

Each structure element will be assessed economically by comparing the planned time and costs to the actual plus estimated (still to be used) time and costs. Thus the project progress is visible at any time, namely

  • for the project as a whole,
  • for each project phase,
  • for each work package,
  • for each member within a work package and
  • for each member related to his overall performance within a project.

As several projects can be loaded from the server simultaneously, you can easily get a comparable overview of the projects you supervise.

To learn from the experience of terminated projects, a copy function is available with which the actual values, multiplied by a percentage coefficient, are stored as plan values for a new project.

Last but not least you are able to define sections for each project, schedule and record the conferences of these sections and thus store all documents related to the decision-making process in a project.
